RMHC NL Lottery Package Forms
All Red Shoe Leaders holding a lottery license will be sent a Ronald McDonald House Lottery Package with their printed tickets, complete with Lottery Financial Statement, Draw Witness, and Prize Acceptance forms. It is very important that the RMHC Lottery Package Forms be completed and returned with money raised from your lottery to Ronald McDonald House no later than TWO weeks after the draw date.
Why is it important to complete the Lottery Package Forms:?
□ To ensure the integrity of lottery draws, documentation is required. The Consumer Affairs Division (lottery licensing) of Service NL may wish to inspect a lottery operation at any time. This can also involve a detailed examination of all lottery records and forms.
□ It is a legal requirement for Ronald McDonald House and other organizations to provide and keep lottery documentation on file.
□ According to the terms and conditions the lottery licensing authority – the Consumer Affairs Division – failure to keep accurate records and provide the proper lottery documentation can affect the ability of RMHC NL to apply for lottery licenses. This may include revoking or suspending the ability of RMHC NL ability to hold licenses.
